The GWO Wind Limited Access – Onshore module is designed to enable participants to conduct supervised visits to onshore wind turbine environments safely. The course covers essential safety awareness, proper use of basic personal protective equipment (PPE), and emergency procedures. It does not qualify participants to perform technical work within wind turbines.
This course does not qualify participants to work or enter WTG environments independently. It is intended solely for supervised visits. While GWO Basic Safety Training (BST) is not a prerequisite for this module, participants must be accompanied at all times by two BST-certified individuals.
For those seeking to perform work or access WTGs independently, GWO recommends completing the full BST training.
