The GWO BTT Bolt Tightening Module is part of the Basic Technical Training (BTT) series, designed to equip wind industry professionals and new entrants with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in bolt tightening procedures. The aim of this module is to train participants to safely and correctly tighten bolts on wind turbine structures (under the supervision of an experienced technician), using appropriate tools, safe work procedures, and proper PPE during the assembly and maintenance of wind generator components and systems. This BTT training covers the correct use of electrical and hydraulic tools and aligns with official GWO training standards.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
After successfully completing this BTT Bolt Tightening module, the participants will have the ability to:
1) Check electrical and hydraulic tools,
2)Tighten bolts safely and correctly using power and hydraulic tools,
3)Be aware of hazards when using electrical and hydraulic tools.
