COURSE OBJECTIVES

The Confined Space Awareness course aims to increase employee awareness of workplace risks and prepare them for emergencies.

The training is designed to equip personnel with the necessary competencies to enable them to:

Identify potential hazards and risks when working in confined spaces.

Assess safety risks and threats.

Understand and apply Entry Permit procedures.

Comprehend the composition of atmospheres, testing methods, and their significance.

Take safety measures before, during, and after being in confined spaces.

Respond correctly and safely to emergency situations related to entering confined spaces.

Perform and manage attendant and sentinel duties in accordance with safe practices.

Use appropriate personal protective equipment.

Training consists of practical exercises based on actual scenarios and theoretical presentations.

Target Audience:

For all persons involved with confined spaces works, both offshore and onshore.

Theoretical lessons will be provided online via Zoom or in-person at the training center. Practical classes must be completed within 28 days of finishing the theoretical classes.
