WORKING AT HEIGHTS & RESCUE | WaH & RESCUE REFRESHER

COURSE OBJECTIVES

Working at Heights & Rescue training helps you to learn using of basic PPE and follow safe working at heights, including safe and complete basic rescue from heights . Training consists of practical exercises based on actual scenarios and theoretical lessons.

COURSE CONTENT

Equipment (hardness, fall prevention, vertical fall arrest systems, fall arrest lanyards, self-retracting lifelines)
Dropped-object awareness
Injury Prevention (Control measures, warm-up, and safety during training )
Practical Exercises (Hands-on practice: fall arrest systems, prevention, and lanyard usage)
Understanding risks, suspension trauma, and emergency procedures
Emergency Preparedness (Evacuation kit contents, equipment Preparation, and safe evacuation methods)
A detailed examination of personal protective equipment
Rescue Training

Target Audience:

For the safety of all individuals working at heights, such as technicians, scaffolders, MEWP operators, construction workers, and marine crew, evacuation and rescue procedures are essential when working on structures like towers, monopoles, broadcast towers, water tanks, scaffold construction, silos, and rooftops.

Course length:
WaH & Rescue : 3.5 hours of e-learning and 8 hours of practical classes.
WaH & Rescue Refresher: 3.5 hours of e-learning and 4.5 hours of practical classes.
Course ratings: Riga: 4.9/5.0 , Klaipeda : 4.9/5.0
Theoretical lessons will be provided online via the BOTC e-learning platform. Practical classes must be completed within 28 days of finishing the theoretical classes.
The price includes the certificate fee, coffee breaks, lunch, and parking.

Course Participant Prerequisites:

The course participants shall be medically fit, appear well-rested, and be capable of fully participating, showing no signs of fatigue, substance abuse, or sickness.

When attending refresher training, the course participants must do so before the expiry of the previous training record’s validity period.
Certificate validity: 24 months
