By placing an order with SIA Baltic Offshore Training Centre, you are accepting these Terms Conditions. Please read the document carefully before placing an order. Course bookings can be arranged via our online booking system, by email or telephone. All confirmed bookings will be acknowledged via email. Joining instructions will be issued five days before the course commencement date, which the client’s contact must pass to each of their candidates.
No fee will be charged by SIA Baltic Offshore Training Centre for cancellations received in writing at least three days before the course commencement. If you do not attend a course, and you have not previously informed us, the full course fee remains payable. All courses are offered by there being sufficient candidates to justify holding the course. Where this or other circumstances force BOTC to cancel a course, liability shall be limited to a refund of any fees paid, and alternative dates suggested.
Substitution of a candidate of Training may be made at any time, and no fee will be incurred.
Candidates may transfer their registration from one course to another course up to six months after to the original course date. Candidates will not be charged for the transfer made. Only one transfer by any candidate may be made. Course certificates are dispatched to the client's contact upon completion of the course and payment of the invoice.
Invoices payment terms are 28 days from the date of invoice or at least one working day before the start of the course, whichever is sooner. Clients are liable for any bank charges incurred in payment of fees. We reserve the right to change payment of the enrolment fees without notice. This will not affect those who have already booked on the course at an agreed rate.
Please read the Confirmation Letter and Joining Instructions carefully and ensure that all the necessary documents, clothing and PPE which are detailed in the joining instructions are brought with you when attending the course.
All candidates are required to observe the Health & Safety Policy of the BOTC. Persons ignoring this policy will not be allowed access to the training centre.
Any damage caused by candidates to the Botctraining premises, any of the facilities, furnishings and equipment will be repaired and rectified by the Botctraining. All involved expenses will be claimed from the Client.
Persons adversely affected by alcohol/drugs must be prohibited from participating in the course while so affected. Disruptive, obscene, defamatory, discriminatory, lewd, violent or otherwise unacceptable behaviour or language will not be tolerated, and the perpetrator may be prohibited from continuing with the course.
YOUR PERSONAL HEALTH IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY. BOTC WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ILLNESS WHATSOEVER DURING OR AFTER THE TRAINING. The candidate shall stop training if there is any doubt regarding his/her medical fitness or wellbeing.
All training course materials produced and delivered by Botctraining are unless otherwise agreed, the property of Botctraining. Reproduction and retransmission of the materials, in whole or in part, in any manner, without the written consent of Botctraining is a violation of copyright law. Also, the copyright of any commissioned work, course development, etc. belongs to Botctraining.
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia, and the parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Latvian courts.
